4. Burst AR... - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
So, for fun I decided to look into the Burst AR. Yeah, this gun is definitely going to be the next FOTM over the SCR. It pretty much is slightly worse at everything than the previous iteration of the TAR was, except its even better CQ. Teams using...

You could make it so you only get WP for squadmates that kill a target you scanned, instead of any team mate. That would limit the ability to just spam it. Personally Im ok with no WP for it. The intel it provides is a good enough incentive to us...

7. [Tip] Ninja Trick #2 - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Dropping a nade buys you time usually. But alternatively, you can cook a nade, wait for them to turn the corner, and kill one or even a group, instantly. You have to make your choice carefully. Ive gotten into trouble by cooking instead of droppi...

Well, it would be one thing if it happened one time, but literally nobody ever showed up. Im assuming I might have made a mistake once or twice with assaults or scouts. But one time, there was a Heavy on a hill above me, we shot him and he retrete...

So, can anyone who successfully used these tell me what Im doing wrong? How come I can see a heavy or assault run behind a rock, then scan right at him, without him appearing on my radar? Is there a delay after the scan is complete to pick them up...

I could not seem to get these to work confidentally. I speced up to the advanced level. I would 100% know enemies were in an area, I would see them run behind a building, or know they were on top of a building or behind a rock etc. So I would use ...

11. Lessons learned from one night of uprising: - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Well, the noobz in proto is because everyone became a rich man. I somehow have 100 mil ISK when i never had above 10 before. I dunno what I had in my stock that made me so rich, but i assume im not alone. (human endurance event items, likely)

I think higher=faster. I need to adjust mine back up, I had them pretty low for the last build. Also, do the sensitivity effect ADS turn speed, or just unzoomed turn speed?

hmmm, i might have misread. I thought the light suit had 10+M? Also, does my own scan percision have any impact on the scanner? If not, it seems too easy to slip under it, even through passive skills.

14. Active Scanner discussion thread - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The percision on these things seemed very high and almost not useful. What is the advantage of using a 46 percision scanning tool when my light suit starts with passive scanning with a lower percision and awesome range?

15. Lessons learned from one night of uprising: - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
So, a lot of folks seem to be having a ton of issues with aiming on this new build. Both posts on this forum, and the inability for anyone to shoot me for a few hours last night have shown this. I am by no means amazing at this game, but I did ha...

17. Super newb HAV question : Zoom - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Hey, is it possible to zoom in with the main guns on the tank? If so, how? I always assumed I could, but my 2-3 times in an HAV, i couldnt do so. Sometimes I run into bugs where I cant zoom as an assault or scout, so perhaps I just ran into those ...

Actually doesnt the scrambler pistol DPS outshine the AR even without the HS bonus? Standard AR: 31 X 750. Standard Scrambler: 75 X 400 The DPS on the scrambler is actually higher than the AR. But I find it suffers from "hit detection issues" ...

20. Tips for fighting mass drivers - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I usually hold my own as a scout. It requires map awareness and good accuracy while strafing, but the only things I cant upgrade in the game are hitbox and movement speed (not sprint) so with that in mind, those are the two areas scouts excel at. ...
